Urgup Inn Cave Hotel

Urgup Inn Cave Hotel is only lightly cave-themed, and its page should be read that way. It is a comfortable family-run hotel in a converted family house in central Ürgüp. Of its ten rooms, only one, room 105 (a Jacuzzi Deluxe Cave Room), is listed as a cave room. The rest are traditionally furnished en-suite rooms.

The location

According to the hotel, it has a prime position in the city centre of Ürgüp, near the ruins of Kayakapı, the old part of Ürgüp, and the Temenni wish hill. It sits in a private, quiet street, ideal for people who want to be in the centre but away from the chaos.

Practical notes

Breakfast can be had at any time. An airport shuttle is available on request, and so is a taxi. Credit cards are accepted and money can be exchanged.

If you want a night in a carved room, ask for room 105 specifically. If you mainly want a friendly, central base in Ürgüp and would enjoy one cave room, this is reasonable. If a fully carved hotel is the point of your trip, look elsewhere.
