There are millions of hotel rooms in the world. We exist to help you find the one that makes you say “you’ll never believe where we stayed”.

We look for places that push the idea of a “stay” as far as it goes: a transparent dome under the northern lights, a suite below the surface of the Indian Ocean, a room in a Cappadocian cave or a lighthouse at the edge of the Atlantic. The place itself has to be the reason for the trip.

How we choose

Discovery. We search travel press, open map data, official tourism sources and the properties’ own websites to find stays that most booking platforms bury.

Verification. Every property is checked against its official website and open map data: it has to exist, take guests and genuinely be what its category says. If we can’t verify it, it doesn’t go on the list.

Curation. Only places that stand out for their setting, architecture or experience make the cut. Our scores are editorial judgements, not guest reviews.
