Telunas Private Island Overwater Villas

Telunas Private Island is a restorative retreat in the Riau Islands of Indonesia, about 50 km from Singapore. The resort offers a choice between family-friendly Overwater Villas above the sea and adults-only Ridge Villas on the hillside.

The overwater villas

There are 15 Overwater Villas. Each is 90 sq m and includes a sitting room, a private balcony, a king bed and a children’s loft that sleeps two or three; the villa sleeps up to five. The oversized master bedroom faces the sea, and distinctive furniture is made from upcycled wooden boats. The standard villa is cooled by sea breeze and ceiling fans. The Signature Overwater Villa is the same villa with an air-conditioned main bedroom and a minibar.

The ridge villas

Five Ridge Villas sit on the ridge overlooking the sea, for adults only. Each has an oversized air-conditioned master bedroom with a king bed, a private plunge pool, a garden bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower, and breakfast served in the outdoor lounge area. Only the 15 overwater villas are the overwater stay.

Facilities

The resort has an infinity pool and bar, an overwater spa, dining with an executive chef and scheduled activities that are included.

Getting there

From Singapore, take the Sindo Ferry from Harbourfront Centre to Sekupang in Batam, about 60 minutes, then a boat of about 60 minutes to the island. Every traveller to Indonesia must submit an arrival card in the All Indonesia app before landing.
