Schloss Hotel Korb

Castle or residence

The property has two parts, and the difference matters when you choose a room. The castle houses the historic suites and some of the double rooms. The residence is a newer building beside it, accessible by lift, with the panorama suites and exclusive doubles.

In the castle:

• Castle suite, about 40 m², for two to four people, combining historic charm with elegant comfort. Not all castle suites can be reached by lift.
• Terrace suite, about 35 m², for two or three people, with a generous terrace; accessible only by stairs.
• Comfort double, about 20 m², in the castle or the residence, small but charming and simply furnished.

In the residence:

• Panoramic suite, about 50 m², with views of Bolzano and the Dolomites.
• Double room exclusive, about 35 m², with a private balcony and the same views.
• South Tyrolean suite, about 70 m², furnished entirely in Swiss pine, looking over Bolzano and the vineyards.
• Garden suite, about 55 m², on the ground floor with a small private garden.

If sleeping in the old walls is the point of your trip, ask for a castle suite or a castle comfort double.

Facilities

The outdoor and indoor pools are open daily from 8am to 8pm. The gym and the tennis court are free for hotel guests. The hotel also lists a gourmet food and beverage offering and a programme of castle experiences.

Practical notes

Check-in is from 2:30pm to 7:30pm and check-out is by 11am. Reception is staffed daily from 8am to 8pm. The wrought-iron gate at the entrance is closed in the evening, so guests are asked to carry their room key. By train, travel to Bolzano station and continue to the hotel; Flixbus and South Tyrol buses serve Bolzano from several airports. In Italy driving with lights on and carrying a safety vest are compulsory.
