Houseboat "Arka"

Houseboat “Arka” is a houseboat holiday rental in Mielno, on the Polish Baltic coast, moored between Lake Jamno and the sea. The operator, Domki na Wodzie, offers water houses, which it likens to camper vans on water, with the same advantages and drawbacks.

The boat

The Arka is a new, autonomous, self-sufficient Lagobau Elite model. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom and a living room with a kitchenette. Because it is self-contained, it is a stay you run yourself rather than a hotel service, so plan for cooking and housekeeping in the same way you would in a holiday flat.

The setting

The plot is only about 200 m from the Baltic Sea and its beach, and the houseboat looks out over the scenic area of Lake Jamno. A roof terrace gives a view of the lake. The operator provides a water bike and life jackets, so you can get onto the water without bringing equipment. With the sea on one side and the lake on the other, you can choose between beach days and quiet time on Lake Jamno.
